ONLINE SURVEYS: There are three online surveys that, if they apply to you, should be completed. You can go to our website to access them.
Parent Survey: This survey is for current parents only. Results will be tabulated and used by board committees and administration to continue to try and make Calvin the best it can be. Please, only one survey per family.
Alumni Survey: This survey is for high school alumni only. Results will be used to continue to work toward a stronger school. Everyone who went to Calvin Christian High is eligible to fill this out - but only once please.
Mascot Survey: All supporters, alumni, parents, and current students may fill out this preference survey. Four mascot choices are offered. Please only take the survey once.**********
SUMMER OFFICE HOURS: Call prior to coming outside of these posted hours. If one office is closed - try the other.

JH/HS Office Hours - 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Monday - Thursday) for June 16 - July 3

CAN YOU HELP - BLUEPRINT SCANNING: We are looking for someone who has access to a large blueprint scanner. We would like to get our blueprints in a PDF format on CD. If you have questions or can help, please call Pete Vander Woude.

TRACK & FIELD NEWS: Congratulations to Alekz Reyes (2nd place--triple jump), Kyle Jasperse (2nd place--triple jump), and Melissa Brouwer (6th place--pole vault) who earned All-CIF honors at last week's CIF FINALS. Way to go!!! Congratulations also to Finals qualifier (pole vault) Hank Houtman.

PIANO PLAYER NEEDED: We are looking for a talented piano player to accompany junior high choir next year. This person needs to be available for two practices a week during the day and for concerts. Contact the office if you are interested.

PK - 8th GRADE YEARBOOK: The yearbooks are here, reserve your copy in the grade school office for $35. Drop off cash or a check made out to (Calvin Christian School) in an envelope with the student(s) name(s) on it.

JUNIOR CLASS MOMS AND/OR DADS: Please bring 3 dozen cookies to the Jr. High kitchen on June 5 for HS graduation the following day. Cookies or bars should be on a disposable plate and marked "High School Graduation". If you can help serve and clean-up at Graduation on Friday, June 6, 7:45-9:45 p.m. please call Donna Powell (489-4335).

ATTENTION 7th GRADE parents. As is tradition at Calvin Christian the 7th grade parents help 8th grade parents with graduation. Will you please bring 4 dozen cookies or bars (no peanut products please) to the junior high kitchen by noon on Thursday June 5th, the last day of school? Please label them "8th Grade Graduation." We also need a few willing hands to help set up and clean up from about 6:00 till 9:00 pm. Remember, next year you'll be 8th grade parents in need of help and the 7th grade class will be there. This is a great and fun way to get a head start on service hours for next year too! Please call: Kandi Waardenburg or Sharon Jacobi.
PARENTS OF SENIORS: Please bring a framed picture of your Senior to the graduation reception. The pictures will be placed on the table by the graduates.

SUMMER CLEANING: Looking to complete this year's or next year's service hours? Once again we will try and do as much summer cleaning with volunteers as possible. You can sign up for an individual classroom or put together a group of parents to do a classroom or another area together. Let the office know if you want to be part of the summer cleaning crew.
We are also looking for a volunteer to coordinate the summer cleaning. This can be done mostly by phone or email.

CAMPBELL'S LABELS: As coordinator of the Campbell's Labels for Education program for Calvin Christian, I want to personally thank everyone who took the time to trim those labels and send them in, I appreciate your and the school appreciates your efforts to work towards big points for us to get free supplies from Campbell's. Keep up the good work throughout the summer. Thanks, Susie Bether. (We also want to thank Susie for all of her hours of work with this program.)

SCHOOL DAYS MEMORY BOOK will preserve your child's unique artwork, assignments and other cherished milestones from throughout the school year. With a variety of colors to choose from, you can customize this $16 keepsake with the CCS logo on the front and the child's name on the spine. Order forms are located in the GS office. FRENCH EXCHANGE STUDENTS: Several students (ages 16 & 17) from France want to perfect their English by spending two to four weeks here this summer. There are only limited appointment times available - and no walk-ins are allowed.
