Course Description for Students:
Get ready to unleash the power of the personal
computer! Students in this course will use their creative and
technical abilities to design interesting, robust and practical
computer programs that will run almost any personal computer.
For the final project (in place of the exam!), students will
create an educational game of their own choosing. This course
could be the starting point for a career in programming, and/or
a foundation for engineering and many other technical careers.
It also shows students how we, as Christians, can use technology
in Christ-like service to others.
A working knowledge of Windows, the Internet,
PowerPoint and Word are prerequisites for this course. These
skills can be obtained by taking Computer 1, Introductory
Computers, or similar computer classes.
