MEET THE COACH
girls' basketball

Brad Jansen is in his first season coaching the Varsity girls' team.  He graduated from Calvin College in December of 2005 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Physical Education.  A 2002 graduate of Denver Christian High School, Brad played basketball for all four years and played two years at Calvin and served as the student assistant coach one year. He is very excited to coach at Calvin and start up a successful program.

JV Coach: Lori McCarley

Lori McCarley is in her second season coaching the JV girls’ team.  As a highly esteemed parent at Calvin, the community welcomes her back for another successful season!  Lori and her husband Mike have four daughters.  Their daughter, Kali, graduated from Calvin in 2008.  They have two daughters still attending Calvin, Stephanie and Rachel.  Their eldest daughter, Nicole, is married and she and her husband are expecting their first child, a baby girl.

Assistant JV Coach: Pete Jackson

Pete Jackson has been an invaluable asset to the girls basketball program.  The Calvin community welcomes him back for his 7th season involved in girls basketball.  He and his wife, Tobee, have 3 daughters.  Elissa and Brianna graduated from Calvin and Grace, their youngest, will be a sophomore this year.
