About
Me: Hi! My name is Mrs.
Kok. I grew up in the Wheaton,
Illinois and then attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mi. After college, I accepted a teaching job
in Monroe, Washington. During my
first year of teaching, I met my future husband, Terry. We taught in Monroe
for 4 years and then moved to eastern Washington (Sunnyside) for 17
years! Sunnyside was adding a
Christian School and Terry was the first history teacher. I taught Kindergarten and 4th grade
there, mostly part-time. Now we are in our 9th year at
Calvin Christian. We have a son,
Nathan, who teaches high school at Ontario, CA. Christian School and a
daughter, Kelley who was married this past summer to John Tiersma. They both teach at Valley Christian School
in Bellflower, CA. I like to hike, play tennis and read for
recreation. |
