About Me: My name is Mrs. Elaine Memmelaar, and this is my 21^st year as a teacher at Calvin Christian. I began here as the Elementary Music Teacher, but most of my experience has been teaching Fourth Grade. The past two years I taught a combination 3^rd/4^th class, and this year I’ve “graduated” to a 4/5 combination. My husband, Arlan, has been teaching Social Studies at Calvin Christian Junior High for the past 32 years, and all three of our children, now married and living in other states, attended Calvin from Grades K-12. We enjoy traveling during the summer months, and especially look forward to the time we can spend with our three grandchildren.
