WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
How Can I Find Opportunities To Volunteer?
We're so grateful for those who are able to give of their time to help make Calvin Christian School a better school. At Calvin, we require a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer service per family. Whether you're a stay-at-home parent or work full-time, there are many opportunities to volunteer. See our list of 101 Ways to Volunteer for ideas! Volunteer opportunities are published in the weekly Monday Bulletin (accessible HERE) and are sent out in a variety of school email communications.
Calvin Christian School has a variety of booster groups to participate in. One of the longest running groups is the Calvin Christian School Service Group (aka, CCSSG and formerly known as the Mothers' Club). This group helps raise funds for general school needs such as the school kitchen remodel, preschool playground upgrade, and tuition assistance. One of the most well-known events sponsored by the CCSSG is the Dutch Festival, a huge family friendly event that is held every other spring.
The Athletic Booster Club raises funds for the junior high and high school athletic programs. The annual Crusader Golf Classic is a fun opportunity to support the athletic programs at Calvin.
The Music Boosters raise funds to provide instruments and instrument repairs, as well as support for the choir programs. Keep your eye out for meeting dates via the Monday Bulletin and school emails.
