In October, Calvin's preschoolers enjoyed visits from many
community helpers. Police officers Bernie Piceno (Landon's dad)
and Marlin Estepa taught about safety and allowed every student
to sit in their patrol car.
Captain Cheney and firefighters Richardson and Jeff shared
their fire truck and spoke about fire safety.
Looney Dooney visited, as he does each month. This month he
made balloon animals and juggled. Dr. Carlson (Tara's dad and
Jason's uncle) came and spoke about dental hygiene and let the
children touch many of his dental instruments. Each month the
students enjoy several assemblies to help reinforce the Theme of
the Week.
