New Kindergarten Students Draw at the
Picnic
On September 13, 2008, Calvin Christian held its annual
Kindergarten Family Mixer on the elementary campus playground.
The event was inspired back in 2006 by a couple parents who were
thrilled that their children were doing well at school and would
regularly hear stories from school about their kid’s friends.
But the parents just couldn’t seem to find an opportunity to
meet other kindergartners’ parents. So this great family event
was designed to bring together especially the parents to meet
and get to know each other a little better.
