Calvin Junior High Students Meet at
Mixer Junior High welcomes new
students:
Calvin Christian welcomes 24 new students
in grades 6-8. The JH “New Student Welcome Party” was a hit as
kids new to Calvin Christian enjoyed a pizza lunch and pool
party. Several returning CCS students also attended in order to
welcome the new students and help them begin to form new
relationships before the school year starts. Several of the
parents, both new and returning, stayed around as well to meet
each other and share stories.
The junior high new student orientation was
held on Monday evening, beginning at 7:00 pm. This is for all
incoming 6th grade students as well as all students
in grades 7-8 who are new to Calvin Christian.
High school welcomes new students:
Calvin Christian will be home to over 20
new students in grades 9-12. All the new high school girls were
invited to a “Girls New Student Welcome Party” held at the
Steenstra home on Tuesday evening. Several returning CCS
students also attended in order to welcome the new students and
help them begin to form new relationships before the school year
starts. Everyone enjoyed a pizza lunch, pool party, and games.
The high new student orientation was held on Tuesday evening,

grade students as well as all students in grades 10-12 who are
new to Calvin Christian.
