Calvin grade school students
presented "Acorns to Oaks" at the annual Spring Concert.
Mr. Bylenga, the elementary school principal, opened with
prayer. Students starting in Kindergarten and continuing through
5th grade presented messages from the Bible with songs entitled,
Rise and Shine, This is My Father's World, Acorns to Oaks, A
Song for Sowin' Seeds, Beware (The Birds), Fruit That is Rooted
in You, Beware (The Weeds), The Rumor Weed Song, Rain, In the
Garden and It's Harvest Time. Some 5th graders led the event
with speaking parts, and many students of all ages had the
opportunity to sing solos. The students all sang beautifully and
enthusiastically. It was a wonderful evening for students,
parents and all others who attended!
