The Christmas Concert is typically one of
Calvin's biggest events, and this year was no exception.
Students from kindergarten through High School sang and
played instruments in praises to God for the awesome gift of
Jesus Christ.
Faith Expression, Calvin's choral group,
began the evening with Christmas carols in the lobby. What a
wonderful way to be welcomed to the concert! Then the bands took
turns playing. Finally the choir sang with each age group
getting a chance to sing. As is the tradition, the concert ended
with the "Halleluiah Chorus", and all those attending were
welcomed to join in.
The High School and Junior High was led by
Ms. Vicki Van Essen, and the Grade School was led by Mrs.
Margaret Wahlen. A special thanks to them for their talented
leadership and hard work!
