On Thursday, April 12, the Calvin Christian Grade School and
Junior High students performed in the annual Spring Choir
Concert. All of the students had several opportunities to sing
during the one-hour concert, and many spoke and/or performed
solos. The concert was followed by an Open House at the grade
school. Parents and siblings were invited into the classrooms to
see projects and enjoy fellowship (as well as cookies and
refreshments).
The title of the concert was "Hide 'em in Your Heart". The
concert was a time of praise to the Lord, and was greatly
enjoyed by the audience as the students sang a total of 14
songs. Each song was preceded by a Bible text that was read by
students.
A special thanks to the directors that made it all possible:
Mrs. Pamela Compton and Miss Vicki Van Essen, and also to Miss
Anita Termaat, the accompanist.
