The Media class from Calvin's high school took a field trip to
visit the North County Times on Thursday, February 15. The group
followed the path that the daily newspaper took: they started at
the newsroom and moved through the printing, putting together,
and packaging of the newspapers. Mary Walker (along with several
of her colleagues) was kind enough to show the students through
the facility and answer any questions they had. All in all, it
was quite an impressive business! |
