On Friday, March 9, Calvin high school students finished up
Spiritual Emphasis Week (SEW), a special time set aside to
encourage students to examine their spiritual walk in a more
direct way. The schedule was adjusted to allow for an extended
chapel time and small group discussions. This was done to
challenge the students to grow in the knowledge of what it means
to be a Christian and to respond with greater commitment to God
in their daily walk. We also set aside one day for community
service.
All of Calvin's high school students participated in service day
on Wednesday, March 7. Students went to various locations
throughout North County, including:
- St. Claires
- Kit Carson Park
- North County Interfaith
- Pioneer Elementary School
- Green Oak Ranch
- Calvin Christian Preschool
