Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with
the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourine and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash
of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything
that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Psalm 150:3-6
The Fall Band Concert began with the 5th graders playing 4
songs. They did a wonderful job, considering they have only
played their instruments since September! Then the 6th grade
band took the stage and the crowd was amazed at the improvements
they have made in the last year. They played two songs for us
and it was a pleasure to listen to them. The 7th and 8th grade
band beautifully played two songs. During the offering, Megan
Van Solkema treated us to a fantastic violin solo. The High
School Band was the finale of the concert and they played 4 very
difficult songs that they have mastered. There were several solo
parts throughout the concert and everyone did their best and
played to the glory of God! Thank you to all of the bands and
especially Miss Vicki Van Essen for this wonderful concert.
