Students Say "No" to Drugs at Red Ribbon Day
On Wednesday, October 25 the Calvin Christian Elementary School
students celebrated their second annual Red Ribbon Day. The Drug
Enforcement Agency held an assembly for the older students at
10:00 am to review saying “No” to drugs and to remember Enrique
Camarena. The entire school then watched a drug prevention
demonstration on the black top and were given the opportunity to
interact with a K-9 Unit, a LAB truck, other DEA equipment and
DEA Special Agents. We are very thankful for the work of the DEA
and the willingness of these officers to come to Calvin to
encourage our students in saying “No” to drugs.
