Music is a wonderful
gift from God. Here at Calvin, we seek to use
that gift of music to bring praise and glory to
Him.
Both mass choir and band classes are offered in
Calvin's curriculum year-round, with periodic
concerts serving as a demonstration of students
progression and maturity.
At the high school level, a variety of different
co-curricular musical options are offered, ranging from
Faith Expression to the Spring Musical
(see the drama
section). Student Pep Bands, Praise
Bands, and Jazz Bands are also
available for those students interested. |

This
extra-curricular singing group is selected
through an auditioning process. Together for the
entire school year, the group practices twice
weekly after school and gives several concerts
and performances throughout the year. Annually
they take their show on the road for a spring
tour through a part of the western United
States. |

Praise Band |
 |
|
Chapel, a time of
meditation, praise, and worship is held twice a
week at CCHS. It gives students the
opportunity to pause from their daily activities
and join the student body in worship and song.
The Praise Band regularly leads singing during
Chapel, and students are encouraged to use their
musical gifts by participating in Praise Band. |
