2018 CCHS FALL PLAY

Calvin Christian High School Drama Department proudly presents:

The students of the Calvin Christian High School drama program would like to invite the community to enter into the small town of Grover's Corners and explore life, love, and death with its distinctive people.  Though at first glance it seems like a simpler time, in reality. It poignantly echoes what is experienced by each of us during our walk on this earth.  Laugh, cry, love, and live life with us this October as the students turn the Heritage Center into a charming town that is all our own.

Purchase tickets for Friday, October 12  -  Saturday, October 13 at the door.
Will Call: 6:30 PM
Showtime: 7:00 PM

A musical perfect for the whole family, Seussical takes us into the world of Dr. Seuss, where we revisit beloved characters including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and JoJo.

CCS Students in grades 3-8 are welcome to audition for this production. View the Audition packet HERE.

Audition Workshops

Wednesday, October 17, 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. - Heritage Center
Thursday, October 25, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. - Heritage Center

All students who are serious about auditioning for this musical are encouraged to attend an Audition Workshop. This is especially helpful for students with no stage experience.

The Audition Workshops are free and are designed to help students prepare to give their best effort in the audition. Students will learn about things such as options for their 60-90 second vocal audition, work in a group to learn a short dance routine, stage presence, and many other things.

These workshops are NOT mandatory in order to audition for the show nor do they guarantee being cast in the production.

Audition Schedule - Students should choose one of the following Auditions

Monday, November 5, 3:15 to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 7, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
