Our Campus:

Calvin Christian Schools is conveniently located in northern Escondido, just a mile and a half from both I-15 and CA-78.  Our campus stretches over 25 acres and boasts over 30 classrooms, a modern gymnasium, several large playing fields, a full library, two 30-station computer labs, a weight-training room, spacious courtyards, and excellent music facilities.

The campus is divided into four distinct areas. The preschool and grade school are located on the South side of Vista Avenue, and the junior high and high school located on the North side.

Our Organization: We are a private Christian school, run by a nine-member parent board.

The Calvin Christian School Society annually elects candidates to serve on this board.  The school board meets monthly, and each member serves on a variety of different strategic committees within the school.

Calvin Christian Schools is Reformed in perspective, but non-denominational in enrollment.  We welcome Christians of all backgrounds to enroll at Calvin.

We believe the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative standard for what we should believe and do.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true and eternal God. This eternal Son of God became man, died on the cross to atone for the sins of all who believe, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. This Jesus will return to earth in power and glory in the final day to judge the living and the dead.

We believe that mankind, including our children, was created in perfection, but that through sin has become depraved. Originally made in the image of God--thinking, feeling and willing like God--man's thoughts, feelings, and will have been perverted. It is essential, therefore, that any education worthy of the name Christian must be an integrating, redemptive, humbling, God-glorifying education. God uses such education as part of his process of undoing the awful effects of sin in every area of life, leading ultimately to the glorification of our children in Jesus Christ on the last day.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is eternally equal with the Father and the Son in power and glory, and whose regenerating work is essential for salvation.

We believe in one holy and universal church on earth.
