Faculty Access for the Web (FAWeb) Information
High school and
junior high techers will take attendance and enter assignments
and grades using the FAWeb web site. The link below will bring
you to the site. It would be a good idea to bookmark this page
in your browser, and even add it to your desktop as a shortcut
since you will be using it frequently.

Staff Web Site Creation
Please review your
staff web site by clicking on the website link located under
your name on Calvin's public "Staff" page (click
here to go to the public "Staff" page). Instead of updating
your site using the methods suggested back in 2006, consider
creating your own site using "Google Sites". There is a special
area on Google that has been set aside just for this purpose. To
access it, click on the link below:

To use Calvin's
portion of the site above, you will need a user account. Send
me, Mark Steenstra, an email and I will create an account for
you, or else setup your own personal Google Site. After you have
created your new web site send me an email so I can link it to
Calvin's public "Staff" page.

Calendar
Information
Several new
calendars have been setup to help the Calvin Christian School
community coordinate events, and to help staff efficiently
manage time. Each calendar is described below, along with a link
that allows access to the calendar. Talk to me, Mark Steenstra,
if you'd like to learn how to add events and/or modify any of
these calendars. If you use Google Calendar for your
personal calendar, any of these calendars (or even any
individual event) can be easily added to your personal calendar.
CCS Main Event
Calendar (maintained by Sandy, Julie and Bianca)
This is the same as the school
calendar that is published each year. Unlike the printed
version, this calendar will be updated if needed. It is
accessible via the home page of Calvin's web site. It is the
default calendar.
Calendar of all CCS Sporting Events (all
of the sports calendars are maintained by Darla)
This is a
composite calendar of all CCS HS and JH sporting events. This
calendar includes the latest class dismissal times and once an
event is completed, the outcome of the event. It replaces the
"This Week In Sports" page (a hard copy of this
document will not longer be distributed). It would be a good
idea to bookmark this page in your browser, and even add it to
your desktop as a shortcut since you will be using it
frequently.

ALL CCS Events
This is a
composite calendar that includes all of the other calendars
except those intended for internal use only (as listed below).
The three
calendars listed above are intended for use by the the greater
Calvin Christian School community. In addition, there is an
individual calendar for each high school sport accessible via
the HS athletics pages.

specific events are listed on this calendar.
CCJH
Student Events Calendar (maintained by Darla, Julie and
Bianca)
All JH specific
events, including sports, are listed on this calendar.
CCHS
Student Council Calendar (maintained by the secretary of the
HS Student Council)
All HS specific
student events, not including sports, are listed on this
calendar.
CCHS College & Career Counseling Calendar (maintained by
Brian)
All HS specific
college and career events are listed on this calendar including
SAT/ACT tests and college rep visits.
The
events on the following calendars are NOT included on the
Calendar of ALL CCS Events. They are meant for CCS internal
use only.

Teacher Calendar (maintained by any/all CCS faculty/staff)
Access to this
calendar is granted to any CCS faculty/staff on request (send an
email to me, Mark Steenstra, to request access). Events normally
communicated via the Faculty Bulletin will be included here. It
can also be used for many other purposes (in-service schedules,
field trips, etc.).
